MPQC is approved by JAUPT to deliver periodic training and we have a number of courses designed specifically for the quarrying industry that will provide you with the 35 hours needed.
MPQC Site Safety Awareness and Safe Behaviour for Road Hauliers - This course is now approved to provide 7 hours of periodic training.
Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving, (SAFED) for Aggregates- This is also a 7 hour course.
MPQC Modular Driver CPC Course for LGV Drivers, which provides 7 to 28 hours of periodic training, comprising of paired combinations of the following 3½ hour modules:
- Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive
- An Introduction to Digital Tachographs
- Vehicle Checks and Defect Reporting
- Safe Loading and Unloading of Vehicles
- Dealing with Accidents and Incidents
- Customer Service
- Dynamic Risk Assessment
