BAM Nuttall achieve first Construction Blasting Qualifications

BAM Nuttall as a company places a very high value on the training and qualifying of its employees. When they began tunnelling work at the Glendoe Hydro-electric Power construction site they realised there was a need for formal qualifications in tunnel blasting. Ben Donnachie of BAM was instrumental in initiating the development of the necessary qualifications which he realised would be very similar to the blasting qualifications they already delivered as offered by MPQC to the Extractives Industries. Subsequently BAM was the first Centre in the country to offer QCF qualifications in Construction Blasting. Now their first candidates have achieved their qualifications.
