PAVIOURS REWARD EXCELLENCE

The Worshipsul Company of Paviors Trade Certificates of Excellence recognise significant contributions made by individuals to the industry.

On 10th February 2012 the Lord Mayor of the City of London presented four awards:

Steven Ralph (Aggregate Industries) and Michael Phillips (Institute of Quarrying) received the Master Craftsman Certificate; whilst James Gwynne (Tarmac) and Steven Bayliss (Aggregate Industries) received the Journeyman Certificate.

MPQC Awarding Organisation are proud to have endorsed the Worshipsul Company of Paviors Trade Certificates of Excellence.

 NEW OFFICES FOR MPQC AWARDING ORGANISATION

MPQC will be relocating to brand new offices in Chilwell on the outskirts of Nottingham around June/July. The building will be shared with MPQC Skills Centre and Institute of Quarrying.

The new premises will provide MPQC Awarding Organisation with room for expansion and provide access to ‘state of the art’ training and conference facilities. There will be two meeting rooms able to accommodate from 6-35 persons. It will serve as a new centre for excellence for education and training for the extractive and related manufacturing sector and the facilities will be made available to industry and clients.

The new central and easy to access location which will be just a few minutes’ drive from J25 of the M1 and within two miles of three railway stations providing links to Nottingham/Leicester/London and Derby/Sheffield. For visitors coming from further afield, the new offices will be within a 20 minute drive of East Midlands Airport.
